The Herbal Oracle
A plant communication journey with 8 mystery herbs.
Every New Moon will begin with a new mystery herb, to be revealed during our monthly session around the Full Moon for two additional weeks of time working with the unveiled plant.

Magical Boxes
All students receive a magical box filled with 8 mystery herbs, both bottled and dried. These are the more-than-human beings you will cultivate relationships with over the course of the lunar year.

Embodied Community
Now and Then Herb School is oriented towards embodied learning within community. Build confidence with your capacity to discern Plant Spirit Medicine by practicing within a group dedicated to learning from one another.

Social Justice
We offer tools to contextualize herbalism within the greater systems of oppression that impact health and healing. We hold space throughout the program to address how appropriation, exploitation, and commodification impact herbalism.

Plant Communication
The program is grounded in direct communications with plants. We offer tools and techniques for you to practice learning the language of plants.
Join our 6th Cohort
Fourth Tuesdays, September 2026 through May 2027 (including a winter break) from 5pm-7pm PST via Zoom
The specific dates are: September 22, 2026; October 27, 2026; November 24, 2026; no class in December; January 26, 2027; February 23, 2027; March 23, 2027; April 27, 2027; and May 25, 2027
We meet once a month around the Full Moon for two hours to practice our plant communication skills and learn the oracle behind our mystery herb.
These classes are recorded for folks who are unable to attend the live class.
Tuition
Early Bird Pricing is $650 total, or $50* per month for 9 months
BIPOC Partial Scholarships are available. Please indicate on the application if you’d like to use this option.
*Payment Plan pricing does not include the $200 deposit, required to hold your spot in the program (included in full tuition cost)
